As a dedicated craft beer geek, I can never have enough sources for research and information for my beer reviews and commentaries. For the true enthusiast out there, the craft beer experience is about more than just drinking a tasty brew. It’s about appreciating the time and effort the brewer puts into their craft. With that in mind, when I write a beer review or commentary, I like to provide the reader with an opportunity to expand their knowledge and enjoyment of the subject matter. When it comes to tracking down reliable information regarding characteristics of different ingredients or processes that combine to make such a fine libation, it can be difficult to find a single source as a go to that allows you to find everything in once place. That is no longer the case, thanks to Chris Cagle and his brand new website BeerMaverick.com.
Chris’ website is dedicated to bringing craft beer enthusiasts and homebrewers in-depth how to articles, experiments and product and craft beer reviews. For me, one of the excellent features of his website is the Beer Ingredients section. In just a couple of clicks I have access to a world of information on hops, grains and yeast varieties. For my readers who may want to take a deeper dive into the ingredients a brewer used, I’ve had to link to two, three, possibly four different websites to put that additional information at their fingertips. Now there is a convenient single source. It’s such a great research tool.
But that’s not all, this thoughtful website has Homebrewing tips, Craft Beer Reviews and Recipes. The website is well laid out and easy to navigate. It doesn’t matter whether you are an expert or a craft beer enthusiast like me, there is a little something for everyone there.
Be sure to look for the links in my future blog posts to BeerMaverick.com to find more in-depth information on a particular topic or ingredient.
Thanks for reading and until next time…Let Us Drink Beer!
Note: I do not receive any compensation or referral fees for links to BeerMaverick.com. I just think it’s a great single source website for a variety of craft beer interests.
