September 22nd – Rome Beer Festival

11th Annual Rome Beer Fest
Time: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Location: Heritage Park

Tickets: $35 in advance; $40 at the gate

Rome, GA is northwest of downtown Atlanta, about an hour and a half trek north on I-75.  The city of 36,000 is a beautiful setting and home to two small colleges, Berry College and Shorter University.  The festival started in 2008 as a way to celebrate the art of beer and raise money for the Rome Area Council for the Arts.  The event features over forty breweries, including 20 based in Georgia.  Your ticket gives you access to unlimited tasting of over 100 beers, a commemorative 16 oz. glass, live music and food.

September 29th – Arches Brewing 3rd Annual Oktoberfest

When: 1pm – 8pm
Where: Arches Brewing, 3361 Dogwood Dr, Hapeville, GA 30354

Arches Brewing will be releasing their Festbier along with their newest Oktoberfest beer Helles Lager.

September 29th – Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest

When: 6:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Location: Downtown Alpharetta on Milton Avenue, Alpharetta, GA

Tickets:  $10

Live music, beer, wine and more in downtown Alpharetta, about 35 minutes north of downtown Atlanta via GA 400.  Beer and wine are $5 each and provided by Alpharetta based Jekyll Brewing.
