
Headed to Atlanta the weekend of October 13th? Looking for a place to try a variety of beers for a reasonable cost? In-laws in town for the weekend and looking for a good excuse to bail? Look no further, as the 8th Annual Great Atlanta Beer Fest will be held Saturday October 13th from 1 to 5 PM at Georgia State Stadium (the former Turner Field).
The event will feature over 150 beers from breweries around the state of Georgia and all over the United States. Some of the breweries you can expect to see there: 21st Amendment, Abby of the Holy Goats, Abita, Atlanta Brewing Co., Bell’s, Eventide, Jekyll Brewing, Orpheus, Reformation, Scofflaw and many more. In addition, for the non-beer drinkers, there will be over 25 wines available for tasting. Of course, there will be food and live music, plus college football on the big screens.
Advanced tickets are $40, $45 starting Oct. 4th and $55 the day of the event. Your ticket entitles you to a souvenir cup, beer samples and live music. Food is extra.
