This was really nice. @idyllhounds Rosemary Saison (6% ABV). Picked it up on a whim. Was not sure I'd like the added rosemary. Turns out it compliments the wild yeast notes nicely. Clove, pear, and apple with herbal spiciness and restrained bitterness. The mouth feel is light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Don't notice the ABV at all. Drinks very nicely without overwhelming the senses. Well crafted beer from Idyll Hounds Brewing.
@sixbridgesbrewing.Sour Continuum Berliner Weisse with Pink Guava 5% ABV. Great beach beer. Nicely balanced between sweet & tart. Medium length finish with a pleasant graininess that trails. Refreshing. Tasty. Rated 91 by The Beer Connoisseur magazine.
Voted No. 1 Best NA beer by Let Us Drink Beer! - @rightsidebrewing Citrus Wheat. 🙂
With a nod to Weaver D's in Athens, Creature Comforts Automatic is a classic American Pale Ale checking in at 5.5% ABV. Hop forward featuring Mosaic & Crystal hops supported by a 2 Row Pale Malt backbone. The Mosaic hops used in this beer is amazing.  When you pour it into a glass, you can instantly smell the citrus & resiny pine aromas without putting your nose anywhere near the glass.  It is a complex hops variety that gives off any number of floral, spicy, pine and fruity aromas.  You can pick up on citrus and pine; but the longer you let it breathe, the more aromas you detect.  The Crystal hops contributes some black pepper and herbal notes; but generally plays a supporting role in the aromas and flavors. Enjoyable Pale Ale. Love the art work on the can. Brings back memories of Athens, GA. Go Dawgs!
Speaking of dumb luck. I set out to find the Three Taverns Collab. Stopped in @mcfarlandwinespirits and they just happened to have one 4 pack sitting out. This is such an awesome collab between Three Taverns & Pivovar Proud from the beer itself right down to the packaging. They've taken a traditional Czech Pilsner & added an American spin with Citra & Cascade hops. It's similar to Prince of Pilsen but with a more notable malt backbone. This is a fine example of what craft beer is all about. Excellent, well craft beer!
Perfect pour! My favorite beer @ironshieldbrewing Seven Sisters. A Vienna Lager beer that is so versatile. Goes with any meal. Or just quenching your thirst on a humid June afternoon. Well crafted!
