In honor of their 4th anniversary, New Realm Brewing has released Radegast Triple IPA 11% ABV. This huge IPA is hopped with Citra, Warrior, Mosaic and El Dorado. This beer has layers of aroma start with the "pop" of the can. Aromas are citrus, floral, spicy/herbal, and pine with tropical fruit mixed in. Flavors are similar with an added spicy/herbal note. Bitterness is moderate to aggressive. Alcohol is noticeable. It's full bodied and soft, but finishes dry. @newrealm_ga leaves you no doubt you are drinking a big IPA with bold aromas, flavors and warming alcohol finish. Purchased @totalwinegeorgia . IPA fans will love this! Congratulations to New Realm Brewing on four years of bringing Georgia excellent craft beer!
@pilsnerurquell was THE right choice this afternoon after work. Pure beer drinker's joy. Happy Friday! Cheers! 🍻
Happy National Beer Day! This is one seriously good beer folks. Arches Brewing Bohemian Riot 5.3% ABV. If you're a fan of Czech style Lagers or love Saaz hops like I do and haven't tried this one, you are missing out. Features River Bend Malt House malt. It's bready with a hint of toast and lot of spiciness. It's loaded with Saaz hops aroma and flavor. The more fresh the better and I believe Arches just put a new batch out starting in March. Love it! Well crafted @archesbrewing .
Here is another beauty for summer (anytime for that matter). @tuckerbrewingco Goseanna 4.5% ABV. What a nice balance between sour, malt backbone and saltiness. None of the three overrides the others. Coriander adds a spiced note that mixes with a tingling on the tongue in the finish. It looks thin, but drinks very much with a medium body with slick mouth-feel. Good thing it's 4.8% ABV because I found myself at the bottom of the glass real fast! Tucker Brewing has a well rounded beer lineup. Something for everyone. And the 4th best beer garden according to USAToday readers. Prost! 🍻
Happy Friday before Easter! Emree of @rightsidebrewing was kind enough to send me some of their non-alcoholic American IPA. NA beers can be hit or miss sometimes. This one is a hit. Don't expect West Coast IPA bitterness or a hop bomb NEIPA. This one is in between. Light amber in color, it has a frothy white head with moderate retention. Aromas are caramel malt & tropical fruit. Flavors are similar with a very subtle bitterness. Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. It's tasty, easy to drink and not too sweet. Between it and Citrus Wheat, Rightside Brewing has you covered pool or beach-side this summer! Check out their website for availability in the Atlanta area or online purchases when available. It's nice to have solid NA beer choices. Well done!
What goes best with German food? German beer of course! Dinner at Gasthaus Tirol tonight. Radeberger Pilsner on tap. Only in America are you served a Radeberger Pilsner in a Warsteiner stein. 😂
